One thing I have enjoyed in writing my mini series of books is developing new characters. I’d venture to say McKall and I have a lot of similarities. I didn’t think the latest female character and I share things in common however when sharing a few chapters to a friend, she disagreed. This one excerpt grabbed her attention to the comparison.
“As she often did she got into her quiet space and gave a silent thanks to God for she knew with his presence in her life NOTHING was impossible. Some people’s idea of worship was in a building on Sunday morning filled with a congregation however hers was alone on a daily basis remembering where she came from and where she was headed next. A city girl from Scotland to a rural OKLAHOMA setting. Never wavering in her conviction to please anyone but to fulfill her own destiny. At times being judged by not settling for mediocre but having a feeling of satisfaction that outweighed anything else.”
Just a little insight to the red headed woman determined to make it inspite of obstacles that have been placed in her way…
Unlike the main man Kord in the first book Laramie is not at all confident in himself. He is a low key dude content with day working on ranches and picking his guitar while lending his vocals to whoever wants to listen.
Like the first installment of the series if you’re like me, you’ll laugh with them, get mad at some of the stunts and find their antics amusing. But most of all my hope is that for a few hours you’ll find yourself transported to a place of wonder. Just to escape this crazy time we are all trapped in! Have a great rest of your day as I work on developing another storyline.
“Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
